Portraits of Beth

Beth needed head shots for her upcoming audition. Here are some that I think turned out. If you look at these pictures and think – I’ll bet that Beth is great to be around – Well, then mister, you’d be right.

Generations project

Here are some pictures shot for the generations project. I’m not sure if I’ll end up using any of them for the project.

Gallery project update

Last time we had a gallery show we called ourselves “Salt Lake Seven”. We don’t have a name this time around, but it might be the same thing. For our current project, I need people to shoot so I posted an add on Craigs List. I got a lot of responses, but mostly from people that are all the same age. However. I did get a person that wanted me to photograph her children and she said that I could also photograph her grandmother and her mother. That worked out great.

New Street in Salt Lake

Today I shot an event in Salt Lake for the Center for Documentary Arts. It’s the fourth thing I’ve done for them in regards to their 8 year project “Crossing the tracks“.
This event was the unveiling of a new street sign on 3rd South to be renamed “Adam Galvez Street”. Adam was the first marine from Utah that was killed in the Iraq war. Junior Cruz, a 15 year old kid decided that for his eagle project, he wanted to rename the street. It took him a year, but it finally got the approval it needed. The governer was there and gave a little speech. Some of the marines that knew Adam gave a speech as well.
