Office Space
This morning I signed a lease on an office space in downtown Provo. Once we get the place painted and arrange the couches just so, I’ll post a few snaps. It’s going to be great. We’ll have a reception area up front as well as a back office that I’ll be sharing with Gheen Hillman. I can’t believe how much fun it’s going to be to go to work every day with Gheen. I’m so lucky. Should I buy a tiny fridge for snacks? How else will we keep the Red Bull chilled without one? Amy’s a little worried that I’m going to be working right across the street from The Smokehouse. I had to promise her I wouldn’t eat there every single day. This is going to be great.
I love this idea
I just came across a really great site. A photographer named Bill Wadman takes a portrait each day for the year 2007. Mostly strangers, some people he knows, and all of them are really great images. So hum…..I’m thinking, could I pull this sort of thing off? I really want to give it a try.

Salt Lake Photoshoot
Man, it was cold when we started shooting. We met at 10am down at Ben’s studio and walked around that part of town to shoot. Lindsi’s husband came too, and it was so great having him there. He took such great care of Lindsi and whenever I paused for a moment to look at the pictures or rearrange the flash, he would rush over and give her a jacket. Such chivalry.
These images were all shot for stock.

My new favorite band
I just started listening to a great band from Alabama called Pine Hill Haints. Good thing my amps go to 11 because it’s good to listen to these guys LOUD.
