What is “30 strangers”?
It’s the name of my latest photography project. It works like this. For the entire month of June, 2008, I will make a portrait of one person each day. Ideally, these will be people I do not already know–strangers. They don’t have to remain strangers, of course, and it’s going to be great to meet a lot of new people.

what if you know me a little?
Oh, man. I’d love to include you Ashley, but I’m sticking to the “stranger” guideline this time. We’ll do another project like this at some point and I’ll be sure and add you in.
I’m afraid that I fall into that category of being known (just a little).
