Last night I had a crushing disappointment. I was supposed to have secured a press pass to go shoot the Wilco concert. Everything was lined up a month ago, but three hours before the show started I got a call letting me know it wasn’t going to happen. I’m still not clear on the real story (Quick question: what the crap?) and I was really sad about it. But hey, when life hands you lemons, make lemmonade and ad vodka, right? Well I don’t drink, so I’ll just have plain lemmonade, thank you. Extra lemons, maybe.
So instead of going to the Wilco show (seriously, I was so bummed) I just photographed my friend Brett instead. He saw this picture and called it the King of the Adams Apple. I laughed. Good times. Brett’s always been so adept at cheering me up. Last night was no different. Thanks Brett, uh, I mean thanks King of the Adams Apple.

Oooh, you missed a good show. Thanks for the Wilco introduction YEARS ago! I love your stuff, but never get around to commenting, so here’s my high praise for it all. I especially loved the 30 strangers series.
Back in the days I was Jennifer Johnsen.
Jennifer Johnsen? How the heck are you? I’ve been wondering how you’ve been. Just the other day Ben and I were recalling the good times we had on that trip to Mexico. It seems the last time I saw you was at your wedding. Could that be possible? Thanks for the comment.
This reminds me of the sun-dance film I saw a few years ago named Adams Apples. Definitely “R” and definitely funny. You should rent it and watch it with Brett.
