Here’s a visual summary of our 30 Strangers project from 2009. What’s the 30 Strangers project? Here’s where you can read about this portrait project and fund raiser. And while the photographs have all been taken, we aren’t finished yet. We’re planning an exhibit for July 2nd (more details to follow soon) and I can’t wait. I just got off the phone with Kent Miles who has agreed to help me sequence the show. Kent has had more gallery exhibitions than any other photographer in Utah (solo or group shows) and having his input will make all the difference. It’s all in the details, don’t you know.

Holy moly. Ahhhhh-mazing. What a beautiful project, Justin!
WOW, this is just awesome, awesome, awesome!
Justin, these turned out great. Did you do these in your studio? What are you using for backdrop? Do you use studio lights or just natural light? I hope you aren’t finding me to be a pest with my many questions.
Hi Sally. You’re not a pest. I’m happy to answer any questions you have. Most all of these were photographed in a studio with natural light. The backdrop is just the painted wall. There are two different area in the studio that I’m using. One produced a much darker background (because of the proximity of the wall to the light coming in) even though they are painted the same color.
