Thanks to everyone that came to the Art Seminar lecture at BYU Idaho last Thursday. I really did have the time of my life. It was great to meet everyone that came up after and I really appreciate what Kelly Burgener, dean of the art school said. “That was as good as any Art Seminar we’ve ever had”. A sincere thanks to you for having me.

Yeah! I was there and thought that you did such a fantastic job… If I ever get married I may ask you be my photographer. I love your work.

Kelly, I believe it! Wish I could have been lucky enough to attend.

I was there too…and I will say that I didn’t fall asleep, or wished it was over as soon as it started. Great job…I really enjoyed listening to all you have to say :)

Did you record the speech so those of us didn’t attend can hear it?

Marcene October 27, 2009 at 7:31 am

So do you think you will share some of your thoughts with the rest of us that didn’t go?

justin October 27, 2009 at 8:56 am

Hi Eric. They audio/visual department was supposed to have recorded it. We’ll see how that pans out.

Hi Marcene,
Yes. Here is some advice I gave, but it only applies if you live in Rexburg I told those new students who have never spent a winter in Rexburg to go find the warmest coat they could find, and then get two of them.

Good job, professor.

Justin!

I am so bummed I couldn’t be there. I was out of town but I’m sure it was great! I’ve heard a lot of good things from people in the community.

Happy to see Amy, Gerald, and Marilyn on the front row! I’m long overdue for a Hackworth fix.

Jeff Archibald November 9, 2009 at 1:22 am

So crowded that Dave couldn’t even sit by Lisa. At least they gave your wife front row preference. Sorry we missed it.

We’ll be sure to bring two coats when we’re there for Christmas.

You did a seminar? That’s awesome, I’m sure the kids just ate it up! Great photo :)
