It’s no secret that Stephanie Brubaker is a purveyor of all things beautiful. You just need to check out her blog, Stephmodo.com (which thousands do on a daily basis) to see that she has great style. But beyond that, she is smart as a whip, fun, and a great friend.

And she’s pregnant. So instead of photographing the whole family like we did in 2009 and 2008, we decided to mix it up a bit this year and just get some maternity pictures.

Here we go. The lovely Stephanie Brubaker:

Important sidenotes – Four things:
1- Stephanie gets her hair cut from Patrick at Shep Salon. Go there. They are amazing. She got her hair cut just before she came to the studio for this session. She looks amazing.

2- Huge thanks to Diana Palmer from Yan Photography who let me use her studio for this session. She’s in the same building as me (just down the hall!) and her studio was perfect for our intended purpose. Diana is so awesome. Check out her website.

3 – Interested in maternity or family portraits with the people you love? Call me. I’m currently booked until August 23rd and have available after that just for you. A handful of days are open in September and October. It’s not too early to be thinking about that family picture you’ll be sending out with your Christmas card this year. My contact info is here and our portrait pricing is here.

4 – I love my job.

Justin — the one of her lying on her back on the bed is just perfection.

Justin, you did such a wonderful job! I’m so happy with these images. And for the record, it’s a good thing we didn’t wait much longer. When I look at these photos I can’t believe I still have 2 months left. That is one big belly…

Now off to share the surprise :)

I think the same of Steph. She’s so great! And the bed shots especially are a perfect representation of how good + pretty + refined she is.

I have a feeling that you’ll be booking many more maternity portraits, Justin. You’re brill.

Loveliness.

There’s talk of a family portrait happening with the tribe I married into, since all the sibs will be gathered late August. Hmm. Maybe we need to talk.

These are so lovely! She is the picture of serenity. I love the one of her on her back in the bed – it could be a mattress ad…or a maternity ad…or…well, you get the picture (or got the picture)!

I love the photos of her lying down. You know, you could even do a photo shoot for a girl on bed rest that way. The one of Stephanie on her back is beautiful.

These photos are gorgeous. (As is Stephanie.) So wish I had done something like this when I was pregnant, but alas, there’s no turning back now.

Aw, these are just lovely. I get such a good, gracious, stylish vibe from SB. I love how real she is about life, all the while doing her best to make it lovely for her family and others. I don’t know her personally, but it’s amazing how much you can feel from a person just reading their words and seeing lovely photos of them taken by good photographers.

JH, my sister met you a couple of weeks ago at your show in Provo and spoke very highly of you. She was impressed with your graciousness.

Beautiful photos! There’s such a calm feeling to them as well.
