The night before Alt Design Summit began I was invited to dinner at The New Yorker restaurant in Salt Lake, sponsored by Hewlett Packard. I wondered if there was going to be anyone there I’d know. Turns out, some of my favorite people showed up: Stephanie and Christian as well as the very fine illustrator Sarah Jane and her husband. (She posted a picture of us on her blog).
And when I saw Maggie Mason, I was prepared to go up to her and say something impressive, like, you probably don’t remember me but I met you last year at Alt. But I didn’t get a chance. Instead, as soon as she saw me, she gave me a big hug and said, “Justin! It’s so great to see you.” Well how about that. Maggie Mason, you know know to treat a guy.

Maggie is the life of the party.
So in the spirit of whimsy and fun that is synonymous with Maggie, here’s a fun match game for you. Match the pictures below of Maggie with the mood of Maggie. Leave your answer in the comment section or play along on your own. Here are your choices:
Mighty Earnest – Mighty Mighty – Mighty Indignant – Mighty Graceful – Mighty Pugnacious – Mighty Peppy – Mighty Regal – Mighty Stealthy

YES! life of the party for sure. You caught her wonderfully. LOVE these! Great to see you there…such lovely company.
i think yr hot like the fire red all around you sister
Ok, in order: peppy, pugnacious, stealthy, graceful, indignant, mighty, earnest, regal.
Very Brave Maggie. I love you but I think you should loose the pants.
I appreciate Diane speaking her mind, but kindly disagree. I love the pants.
These are great! I love that I was asking you flash questions and then I find you here…your website is gorgeous. I feel a little embarrassed for all my questions and I now officially want to be you when I grow up:-) Thank you for being so gracious!
One of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time. I still drift off into a blissful stupor when I think of that cake. Thanks for a fun evening! Nice to meet the man behind the camera:)
Ah, yes. The cake. What a great thing to remember.
Yowza, these are fab!
Love Maggie and her spirit (which you’ve captured so nicely!), but the fit of these pants aren’t doing it for me. Gap has skinny ones in the same color on sale NOW! They would look FABULOUS!
That’s our Maggie!
Lose the pants. Not because of how they look (Maggie, let’s be honest – you look great in everything…), but because they are red pants, and I have an inexplicable hate-on for red pants.
No. 1 is my favorite. It seems to best encompass the joy with which Maggie lives her life.
Maggie, I love the pants, however I think the rest of the ensemble is not your friend. How about black our animal print shoes and a caramely camel sweater? (which you could then bedeck with some great vintage jewelry) I am really enjoying your blog. I think you are bodacious and audacious.
