Yesterday was my 45th birthday. So, taking 45 self portraits throughout the day seemed like a swell idea. I started first thing in the morning. Here we go!

happy belated birthday! this post is fantastic; what a great idea.

i’ve been following your work for quite some time and have seen you around town (in a quiet respect/photography admiration sortofa way, not a creepy stalker way). i appreciate not only your masterful skill but also your innovation and ability to exhibit so much personality through your photographs.

well done, sir!

It looks like your birthday was fabulous! All best wishes to you! I’ll be at Alt this month – hope I’ll get to say hi!

justin January 10, 2013 at 1:36 pm

Natalie, you’ll just have to come back to Provo. I don’t think I can oversell it. It’s truly divine.

Happy Birthday friend! You look lovely, as always.

(However, can I take this opportunity to also say that I LOVE Amy’s haircut? LOVE. Please pass that on to her. :) )

I love Amy’s tablecloth :)

Did you get your annual limericks?
More fun than Simpson’s or Netflix…
Touting virtue or vice
And everything nice
With tales of your loveable antics.

I’m so in love with this idea it’s stupid.

When I saw you posted these I was late for an assignment, so I couldn’t look at them. As soon as I got to work this was the first thing I looked at online. So cool

Man. I’m all about interesting family portraits. The first one with you, Amy & the kids totally works for me.

Breakfast one too.

LOL’d at “Off to school.” Totally funny.

Also LOL’d at the shower one. So good.

I like when you mug for the camera, so butterscotch pudding is in.

I really like the 45 years of experience photo too.

Also drawn to the “My office” photo. I like how your legs are posed.

One of you & the kids where they’re partially in the frame is cool.

Again, non standard family portrait is great. Dinner photo rules.

Kids wrestling. Hah.

I didn’t know you were going to do this again. It’s like you gave us a present for your birthday!
