During his speech at the wedding, Peter, the groom, talked about he and Lauren’s vision for the wedding. He said, instead of having the wedding on a rainy day at some hotel ballroom in Washington DC, they wanted to go somewhere warm, and to bring their friends and family along. And over the course of a few days, they wanted to relax and be together and have fun.
Lauren made a directory of all the guests in attendance. It included a picture of each guest and some fun details about their life. That way, everyone could get to know each other better while they gathered, mingled, and relaxed for a few days at this incredible resort. Guests began arriving throughout the week. I arrived on Friday. And a couple days later, this happened:
