I photographed the BlogHer convention in New York back in August. Good times, and all. Then, earlier this month I traveled to San Francisco for another BlogHer convention, BlogHer Food 2010.

It looked a little something like this.

If you love curse words and laughing out loud then you’ll want to know about Jenny, the Bloggess. The tag line on her blog says, “Like Mother Teresa, only better.”

Here she is, photographed in New York City during the BlogHer convention. Thanks for your time, Jenny. I think you’re hilarious.

Justin Hackworth photographs saints and sinners and he wants to photograph you. Give me a jingle. I’ll catch you on the jangle.

While I was in New York, Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Woman, had a party along with Jaden from the Steamy Kitchen (I love that name) and Elise from Simply Recipies. It was an intimate affair. Fancy and fun and on the roof of a hotel. Food bloggers mostly. It went a little something like this.

BlogHer Convention 2010

Last week, 2,400 bloggers met at the Hilton hotel in New York City for BlogHer 2010. I was there to photograph the event.

Parties, laughter, food, hugging, hey – how have you been, learning, more laughs, Tom-foolery, then more parties. And that was just the first night. It went on like that for three days.

For me, being there was great fun. I saw plenty of folks I know and love, and met some people I’ve always wanted to meet. But I wasn’t there to glad hand. I was there to work. And so that’s just what I did. My days started at 7am and ended around 11pm or 12pm. Good thing I have comfortable shoes.

Here’s a slice of how things played out.

Big thanks to Trevor Christensen who came to shoot with me, and a big thanks to BlogHer and all the BlogHer staff that were so fun and friendly, and who made this event such a joy to photograph.
