Ben sent an email and told me he was getting married and wanted to know if I was interested in working with them. I like emails like that. And I like couples like Ben and Claire. So I’m going to photograph their wedding soon, but first things first. Engagement pictures. We started in my studio where it’s warm and cozy, then headed outside and up Provo Canyon. It was a little chilly, sure, but we went to the place where Ben proposed, and I think the memory of such things might have added an extra bit of warmth.
Me: Claire, did you know he was going to ask you that night?
Claire (smiling): Well, Ben can’t keep a secret.
