Yesterday I went to Qualtrics to photograph the executive team.
Now, on most days I’m so glad I don’t go to work everyday for someone else because I love being able to work at home, or at my studio, or drive up Provo canyon and get some work done up there. And I love my loosey goosey schedule. But spending some time at the Qualtrics offices started to sway me just a little because that place seemed so darn cool. Everyone looked like they were having a great time. People were laughing, having fun, and there were two dogs in the office (one really bushy, one teeny). There were bikes all around the office. Their snack bar was a hollowed out VW bus. And I’ll bet their internet there is really fast. (That’s one thing about my office that really makes me mad).
This company Qualtrics is going places, and it’s all because of these guys.
Scott Smith, Founder.
I asked him if anyone ever told him he looked like Jeff Goldblum. He said no.

Does your company need updated photographs? Let’s talk. 801.916.6993
A couple years ago Maddie accompanied me to a wedding in Logan. She’s fun, easy to talk to, and has an amazing voice. So I was happy when she called and asked me to photograph her.
After I took some pictures of her I asked her to sing. One song wasn’t enough. I asked her to sing three. I think it’s the most lovely sound we’ve had in that studio so far.
Meet Maddie.

Do you need headshots or portraits for you next acting gig or upcoming project? Let’s talk. 801.916.6993.
The actor, Dan Anderson.

Photographed at my studio in Provo, Utah.
Kelley left the mountains and came to Provo from Park City to get her portrait taken, and admitted she’s rarely in this town. Welcome to Provo Kelley.

Check out her cooking blog.
I’ve been doing headshots up the ying-yang on account of our headshot special (which ends very soon, by the way). Here are some of the people I’ve had the pleasure of photographing recently.

Justin Hackworth photographs happy people and beautiful events (yes, weddings) and he wants to photograph you. 801.916.6993.
Meet Julie.

Julie came in to take advantage of this.
Here’s the lovely Amelia. Photographed at my studio in Provo, Utah.

Amelia came in last week to take advantage of our headshot special. We offer headshots all year long, but are offering this special rate during February and March only. If you need a headshot for your blog, now is the time to get it done, so give me a call. I can’t wait to photograph you. 801.916.6993.
Are you like me? Do you often go to someone’s blog to see what that person looks like only to discover that the photograph is so terrible you have mistaken them for a horse? The moral of this story (not really a story) is to make the right impression with a great profile picture. You’ll look legit, professional, and it’s also a very good way to stand out from the crowd. The picture you use says so much about you. Make sure it’s saying what you want.
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, but Justin, won’t that cost a lot of money? Well, hold on to your hat.
I’m offering headshots for bloggers and anyone, really, that uses an online profile picture for social media and online business. And I’m offering this service at an incredible price.
$100 will get you a headshot portrait session at my studio plus 3 images of your choice that you are free to use for online purposes, your blog, LinkedIn, online store, profile picture for your next convention speaking engagement, Twitter, Facebook.
Just like a delicious pie sitting on the counter, this sweet deal isn’t going to last forever. I’m only offering this special rate in February and March 2011. For available days, further details, and additional samples, see our headshot page.
It’s time to put your best foot forward. You only get one chance to make a first impression. Reach for the stars, Tiger. Call me.

She’s talented. She’s lovely. She’s going places. Here’s Jacklyn Hales, photographed at my studio in Provo, Utah.

Justin Hackworths makes headshots for talented actors and he wants to photograph you.

She wants to model. So, you call a make-up artist and a photographer and you put a portfolio together. Not bad for her first photo-shoot. And it’s a lot easier to look slick when you’ve got Amelia doing hair and make-up.
Thanks, all. This was a lot of fun.

50 portraits in three days. That was the assignment from the Burton Group. These portraits were all photographed at the Sheraton Hotel in Salt Lake City.

Me: Do you want to be famous?
Krissy: Yes I do.
Krissy is an opera singer. When she came to the studio I got her to sing for me and now I want her to be famous, too, because I think the world deserves to hear that beautiful voice of hers.
