It was bright, sunny, and chilly at the end of May when Maya and John got married in Park City, Utah at the Park Meadows Country Club. One of the best parts of the day is when Maya’s godfather made a great speech and presented Maya with a necklace that was his grandmother’s from Germany. He said it was the oldest piece of jewelry in the family. (Man, I hope I have those details right). In any case, it was a beautiful detail, thoughtful and touching, and just one of the reasons why I love to photograph weddings.
