We took Patrick and Ashlee’s engagement pictures in Provo Canyon not too long ago. You take the road that leads to Squaw Peak, but then turn left to Hope Campground, instead. It’s gorgeous, or course, and we were there at the perfect time of year.
And now, meet Ashlee and Patrick.

Ashlee works at Platinum Salon in Orem, and has been cutting C. Jane’s hair for six years.
They’re funny and fun and sarcastic, they love to kiss each other and laugh together. And they’re getting married next month in Salt Lake. I’ll be there to photograph the happy day.
Meet Laura and Austin.

Embarrassing moment- I called her Lauren (it’s Laura) at least twice. Maybe three times. Oh, brother.

Want pictures like this for you and the one you love? Let’s talk. I promise to call you the right name 80% of the time or more.
Planning a wedding has been a real hitch in the get-along since Jordan’s in the Marines’s and doesn’t know when and where he’ll be stationed. But they’re getting married. That much they do know. So we took some engagement pictures in Provo on one of those rare April days when you didn’t need a ski parka to keep warm outside.
They’ve known each other since high school, and now they’re getting married. Meet Kiersten and Jordan.

They met at school in Logan. Things started heating up in the fall, and now, this spring they’re getting married. We took these engagement pictures in Provo, not too far from my office. Meet Janessa and Jordan. Lovebirds.

Can’t wait for the wedding in May!

Planning a wedding of your own? We should talk.

We’re not just making pictures. We’re making history.
A week before we were going to take these engagement pictures, Kaitlyn and Jared came by my studio to meet first, then talk about what they had in mind, and just to see if we were on the same page regarding how to make some engagement pictures that were a true reflection of what they were like as a couple. It gave me a chance to ask a few questions about them–you know, how they met, who liked who first, and all the details about their wedding. So when they came back to be photographed I knew a little bit about them.
All you need to know about them is that they are in love, can’t stop smiling when they look each other in the eye, and they are about as charming as can be. These engagement pictures were all taken in Provo Utah. Enjoy.

I first photographed Sarah in June and was happy to include her husband Tim this time. These portraits were all taken in downtown Provo, not too far from my office.

She’s working on a PHD in English Literature, he sells Ex-Eastern Bloc military aircraft. Now, their getting hitched. Check out this slideshow with more of their engagement pictures.

I think it’s a good sign when an engaged couple can’t stop smiling when they look at each other. From time to time I’d say, “Ok, now don’t smile for a second” and for Paige and Mark, that was impossible. They’d giggle and try not to smile, but in the end, they’re just so happy to be getting married. Now that’s sweet.
Location: Provo
Mood: Giddy bliss
Percentage of time smiling: 99.9%
Her coat: Freak’n awesome

Here’s Lindsay and Whitney. If these three pictures aren’t enough for you, feel free to check out a teeny slide show here. And let me just say, I can’t wait for Lindsay’s and Whitney’s wedding.
