Well, the good news is I’ll be in New York photographing the BlogHer convention in August and I’m really looking forward to that. The bad news is that I won’t get to photograph Brooke and Kevin’s wedding in San Diego because it’s at the same time as the convention. But the good news is that I still got to photograph them for their engagement pictures. And the bad news is–wait, there’s no more bad news. That’s it.
And now, meet Brooke and Kevin.

Here’s our fourth engagement session giveaway. If you’ve entered before you can enter again. Leave a comment on this blog post and we’ll announce our winner on Saturday. Good luck, love-birds.

A week before we were going to take these engagement pictures, Kaitlyn and Jared came by my studio to meet first, then talk about what they had in mind, and just to see if we were on the same page regarding how to make some engagement pictures that were a true reflection of what they were like as a couple. It gave me a chance to ask a few questions about them–you know, how they met, who liked who first, and all the details about their wedding. So when they came back to be photographed I knew a little bit about them.
All you need to know about them is that they are in love, can’t stop smiling when they look each other in the eye, and they are about as charming as can be. These engagement pictures were all taken in Provo Utah. Enjoy.

These engagement pictures were taken in Lehi, Utah. First at the Roller Mills, then we drove to the lake. Eve and Rob called on pretty short notice (they were in a pinch), and since I love to dazzle and amaze, I worked it out. Eve got her hair and make-up done at the fabulous Enizio Salon. I’m assuming Rob did his own hair.

For Lizy and Nick’s engagement pictures, we drove out on the North side of Utah Lake. They were real champs and didn’t balk at the idea of walking out in a teeny bit of mud, even though they both had new shoes. And let me just say, their shoes were fabulous. So here they are: Lizy and Nick. Beautiful.

If you’d love to get some gorgoues pictures for yourself and someone you love in a classic documentary style, we should talk.
Lisa and Ryan came for engagement pictures. We walked around Provo a little bit, not too far from my office. Then we drove to Provo Canyon. It’s that time of year, so yes, I’ve been there a lot lately. I consider myself lucky. Do yourself a favor, and drive up there this week. Here’s a one minute slideshow from these engagement portraits.
Interested in getting something like this for yourself or someone you love? Give me a call.

These engagement pictures were taken in Provo Canyon. I love that place. Here’s a slideshow if you want to see more pictures.
