Cynthia is the owner of Enizio Salon. When, on your wedding day, you want to look like a million damn dollars, you’ll call Enizio Salon. I honestly don’t know why you’d do anything else. I was lucky enough to photograph her and her daughter this week. They brought along what they called a “dog”. But look at that teeny little thing. It’s hardly bigger than a polish sausage.

Rachel came from Colorado to be photographed with her mother, grandmother, and daughter. That’s cool, but here’s the even cooler part. It was a surprise to her mother–her arrival, the portrait session–the whole thing. I love that.

Side-story: Rachel had a little girl with her that, at one point, wasn’t all that happy. So she did what any two-year old would do to let us know she wanted a little attention. She cried some. I asked Rachel if it would be ok to give her a sucker. Sure. So I asked our adept intern if she’d go get it. A few minutes later the kids were chewing gum but no one was eating a sucker.
Me: Did you find that sucker?
Ashley: I couldn”t find it.
Me: Really? It should be right on my side of the desk.
Ashley: Umm…. I ate the sucker.
Well, it was a Blow-pop. Can you blame her?

Daughter: Miss Sage.
Me: That’s a pretty name. Is she nice or mean?
Daughter: Nice.
Me: Is she old or young?
Daughter: She’s partly old.
Me: Am I old or young?
Daughter: (giggle, giggle) You’re OLD.

Krissy: Yes I do.
Krissy is an opera singer. When she came to the studio I got her to sing for me and now I want her to be famous, too, because I think the world deserves to hear that beautiful voice of hers.
Last week we announced our 30 Stranger project coming up in April. I can’t wait. Well, once Gabrielle and Stephanie mentioned it on their blogs, it only took a couple hours to fill all the spots. (Last year when we did it in two days, I thought that was fast–but two hours? Wow. What’s going to happen next year?) And what to do about all those people that still want to participate, but contacted us after the 30 spots were filled? Well, we came up with a great plan and a super deal.
