Ariane is corporate trainer for OC Tanner and needed some headshots/portraits for speaker bios and press releases and I’m delighted she came to the studio to be photographed. She is from the Ivory Coast, speaks five languages (that’s four more than I speak) and she is poised and dignified and very cool.
Austin Channing Brown
Here’s a portrait of the very cool Austin Channing Brown, who I was able to meet and photograph at this year’s Alt Summit. I recommend her book I’m Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made For Whiteness
JessiKate Riley Miss Utah USA 2021
JessiKate Riley, in 2021, won Miss Utah USA. Built Bar was a sponsor for her, and Chase Marketing lined up this shoot.
Jake Van Wagoner is good at a lot of things
Jake Van Wagoner is a father, producer, director, actor, and who knows what else. He’s written and acted in movies, worked on the show Practical Jokers, he’s in the comedy troupe Thrillionaires and for the last couple years, show runner and director for Studio C. Here’s a picture of Jake during the production of one of the Studio C sketches.
Lauren Daigle for BYU TV
It was 95 degrees outside on the day Lauren Daigle came to town to film Christmas Under the Stars, for BYU TV. This was back in August.
Lauren is an impressive singer (Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards…) and an equally impressive person to be around. I photographed the show, and in between the rehearsal and the Christmas concert I was given a few minutes for a more formal portrait to be used for BYU TV’s promo material. Thanks to BYU TV for hiring me to photograph this.
Women In Film - Cast of Extinct
In February, I visited the set of the upcoming BYU TV sci-fi drama, Extinct, to photograph the female cast and crew (actors, wardrobe, script--you get the idea). The images were part of a promotion for the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media.

Here's Carly Britton, photographed for Where Women Create.
Jimmy Osmond
Jimmy Osmond, photographed at his home for the London Sunday Times.
This job was great fun to shoot. Last year, Jimmy was on a cooking show in the UK, so the Sunday Times wanted him pictured with one of his favorite meals. We arrived at his house and were welcomed in by Jimmy who was gracious, friendly, and funny. And after the shoot was over, he even helped me carry my gear out to my car. Now, that's a classy move.
Brooke White
Best voice in the world, Brooke White.
Photographed at my studio in downtown Provo.
Mallory from Studio C
Just as beautiful and kind as she is funny, here's Mallory Everton from Studio C.
This might be my favorite Studio C sketch of all time.
